Thierry Tidrow: My Corporate Identity

Thierry Tidrow – as the winner of the international ‘Neue Szenen’ composer competition –  together with Uta Bierbaum librettist and Zsófia Geréb director as a team created a short opera on the metaphoric subject of ’drilling through the world’ by Deutsche Oper Berlin.

’Imagine that you are at your workplace. At a huge office, at a huge company. You stand in the kitchen and you are facing a crack on the floor. Strange, but who cares. You are completely satisfied with your life, especially with your ’corporate-life’. The crack gets bigger and you can’t enter the kitchen anymore. There must be a cleaning lady here, who feels responsible for it! Or a janitor? Or should you do something?’
